Our Look Into Kaged Kombat 18

Kaged Kombat

With Kaged Kombat 18 in the history books we at Warriors Instinct MMA had a different look into the workings of a promotion that we have not had before. We came in as spectators this time around and I was able to corner a very good friend and family member of ours Alex Ratigan. We seen Alex was looking for a corner last week and we stepped up and told him we would love to help anyway we could. Alex hit us up and put us in contact with Kalill Bostick and never before working together (myself and Kalill) we meet at the Saratoga Civic Center for Kaged Kombat 18!

If you have ever been to a Kaged Kombat event you will see right away things are run very well, even with last minute no-shows the event ran smooth. Anything we needed we were taken care of right away, from Chad to all the officials they made us feel at home like we have know each other for years.

So what separates Kaged Kombat from the others? The one thing that stands out the most is even though we didn’t have press passes the facility was open for our team. We were unable to get pictures like we usually do for the fighters due to our cameras not having better lenses, but the option was there for us. We were given permission to tape Alex’s fight cage side so we were able to catch that young man come in and put in work as well as his opponent Darrin Hunsdon. Even though Alex lost the fight he won overall. He not only gained experience but showed outstanding sportsmanship and courage and is always a winner in our book as well as all the fighters that step into the cage and train everyday to participate in a sport that our state does not recognize. Our hats off to Darrin Hunsdon as well he came in prepared and was able to showcase all his hard work and talent that night.

Some feel and have told us before that Kaged Kombat is not one of the “heavy hitters” as far as promotions go in our area, but we will beg to differ. This is not the first Kaged Komabt we have ever attended. In fact this is the second time we have attend a Kaged Kombat event and we will be sure to be heading back to their events in the future. Kaged Kombat has all the excitement and great local amateur MMA fighters that you would expect for the price of $40 (general admission ticket), trust me when I say this you will not be disappointed with paying the price of the tickets.

If you have never attended a Kaged Komabt event we suggest you do and see for yourself, because Kaged Kombat puts out a great card, with great fighters for a great price at an awesome venue.

Hope to see you there at the next Kaged Kombat event!
