Joe Bagley Cleared Of All Charges

XCP Judgement Day Weigh-ins (46)

A lot of us remember November 14, 2013, the day that Joe Bagley was arrested and charged with a felony after choking a woman, as well as Criminal Contempt in the 1st Degree, a felony, and CriminalObstructionof Breathing or Blood Circulation, a misdemeanor and was sent to Saratoga County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail. We had reached out to Joe and he was not able to make a statement at that time, but maintained his innocence.

Over the weekend we were able to catch up with Joe in Vermont and we spoke about the charges and at this time we would like to make the statement that Joseph Bagley was cleared of all those charges and in fact the woman that alleged the crimes was placed on probation for falsely reporting these incidents. So why now, why are we letting you know? As we know media outlets love a great story but fail to let us know all of the details or outcomes, so on Joe’s behalf we would like to let everyone know Joseph Bagley has been cleared of all the charges for that incident on November 14, 2013.

Daniel Cormier Discusses His Career With the UFC On Inside MMA

Daniel Cormier

In anticipation of UFC fighter Daniel Cormier’s showdown with Dan Henderson tomorrow night at UFC 173, INSIDE MMA correspondent Ron Kruck caught up with the light heavyweight to discuss his future career in the UFC on AXS TV’s Inside MMA tonight.

Said Cormier:

“[Dana White] told me that both of us would get a title shot if we won. I’ve been hounding him. He’s probably tired of me going, ‘Hey, when do I fight? When do I get a title shot? Who do I fight next? What do I do?’ So if he doesn’t confirm to me then right after the fight on Saturday I’m gonna be right in his back pocket… before he can even set up the next fight. Realistic timeline for me: I know it’s quite a wait if I get through Henderson, but [Jon] Jones didn’t take much damage in his fight, [Alexander] Gustafsson took no damage, those guys should fight in September.”

Cormier went on to directly address Jones and Gustafsson, saying:

“Jones, Gustafsson you guys fight in September. The winner fights me at the beginning of next year. Guys don’t make me wait too long, I’m 35 years old.”

Also during the interview, Cormier talks about his matchup with Henderson, who he calls one if his heroes, and jokes about their recent Popeye’s chicken incident. Watch Cormier’s full interview here:

Tonight’s episode also featured guest host UFC Fighter Mark Munoz, who lent his unique perspective to the show as he filled in for regular host Bas Rutten. During the show, series host Kenny Rice asked Munoz to preview his headlining fight next week versus Gegard Mousasi. A video clip of Munoz’s response is available here:

Cage Wars 25 Fight Of The Night

Cage Wars 25 logo

With Cage Wars 25 Upstate Uproar in the history books, Cage Wars has announced the fight of the night as well as KO of the night and Submission of the Night.

This Cage Wars was one hell of a card. Each fighter came prepared to do war and they did just that. The fight of the night was a battle, with both fighters giving it all they had. At one point I didn’t know if either could continue as they were active all three rounds displaying their talent and it was just a pure battle. Our hats off to both fighters.

The KO of the night took us all by surprise as we know both fighters and they are fierce competitors. Rob Best came in to defend his belt and did just that in :10 seconds in the first round.

Submission of the night was a fight that seen the #135 belt change hands. Both fighters came in to win. We have never watched Scott fight but we have watched Andre on numerous occasions and we did not see Andre getting caught with a rear naked choke, but Scott proved us wrong.

Congratulations to all the fighters you came out to fight and put a show on for the crowd. You are all Warriors!!

FIGHT OF THE NIGHT:

Royce Gracie and Frank Dux Reveal Facts On AXS TVs The Voice Versus This Friday

The Voice Versus Dux vs Gracie

This Friday The Voice Versus will premiere two all-new episodes for your viewing pleasure!

Checkout all the information below:

AXS TV FIGHTS’ interview series THE VOICE VERSUS premieres two all-new episodes airing back-to-back on Friday, May 16 as host Michael “The Voice” Schiavello—an award-winning sports journalist, writer, commentator and television personality—conducts hour-long, in-depth interviews with UFC Hall of Famer Royce Gracie at 10pE/7pP and martial arts legend and inspiration for the film “Bloodsport” Frank Dux at 11pE/8pP.

On THE VOICE VERSUS: ROYCE GRACIE airing first at 10pE/7pP, Gracie brings his unique, first-hand perspective as he responds to Schiavello’s adept questioning about the beginnings of the UFC and mixed martial arts’ evolution as a sport. Additionally, Gracie tells a blend of fascinating stories from his experiences with celebrities such as Chuck Norris and Jim Carrey, remembers the lessons of his father Helio Gracie, and lends insightful analysis to the state of MMA today. In this clip, Gracie reflects on his opponent Gerard Gordeau biting him during their famous showdown at UFC 1

Then, immediately after on THE VOICE VERSUS: FRANK DUX at 11pE/8pP, Schiavello sits down for an hour-long interview with Dux, who has been called the most controversial martial arts exponent in history. In this not-to-be-missed episode, Dux, who boasts an undefeated career fight record of 329-0, opens up about subjects ranging from the realities of his journey into the underground martial arts “Kumite” competition, which inspired the action blockbuster “Bloodsport” starring Jean Claude Van Damme, to his off-the-books international espionage work for the CIA.

During the revealing interview, Dux talks about how he prevented a “hit” on fellow martial artist Steven Seagal, details his infamous brawl with UFC fighter Zane Frazier, and more, along with discussing his significant influence on modern MMA. In this clip, Dux talks about inventing the famous “liver shot” and tells how the UFC was created for him:

“This interview is amazing from start to finish,” said Schiavello. “Dux is a legendary figure in martial arts. To many he is a fraud and to many he is an inspiration. I will let the viewers on Friday night play judge and jury. Was he really faster than Bruce Lee? Did he really win the Kumite at just 19 years of age? Did he actually train the Ukrainian Special Forces? Is he still involved in covert operations?”
