It is with a heavy heart we bring this news to you. Dave Brock will not be able to compete at Cage Wars 24 this weekend April 5th at the Hilton of Albany. We were able to speak with Dave Woodby about Brock’s condition and at this time we will let you know that Brock has an aneurysm that has grown at an alarming rate on his heart. Team Brock/Hoodlum Fight Team even went the extra step to get a second opinion and the second opinion was far worse than the first.
Dave Woodby did ask to go on record and say: “I want to apologize to Jesse Baughman and his team first and foremost. Jesse put the work into training for this championship match and we regret that he will not be able to fight Brock for the Cage Wars Heavyweight Championship belt.” Dave also went on to say “We ask instead of negativity please send your prayers and well wishes to Dave Brock. Brock is beating himself up over his health and is realizing that this is one battle that will far out weigh any of his battles in the cage to date.” Dave also apologized to all of Brock’s fans that wanted to see his return to the cage.
We will keep you up to date on Brock’s health and we are going on record if any negative comments are left in the comment section of this post they will be removed without haste. Brock as many of the fighters are our family and we will not tolerate any BS comments. We ask you take a moment out of your day and send your well wishes to Dave and keep him in your thoughts and if you believe in a higher power please send your prayers to Dave and his family. This by far will be his biggest battle to date, far tougher than any cage could handle.
We love you Dave and get better our brother!
Before the fighters step into the cage on April 5th they must weigh-in and this is a great time to see all the fighters before they step into the cage to do battle and enjoy a beer or two with fellow fans.
Weigh-ins will take place at the River Street Pub 194 River Street in Troy NY. Weigh-ins are free to attend and there is a bonus. If you stay for the concert right after weigh-ins you can save some cash on your ticket for the concert. Weigh-ins and a concert, now there is a win, win for all those that attend.
Hope to see you there!
Be sure to get your Cage Wars 24 tickets right now!
