Shannon Miller made an announcement on his Facebook about his and his partners next fight promotion Evolution of Combat:
It is with great excitement that I announce the formation of our new fight promotion, Evolution of Combat. Myself and partners Ed Kinner, Leighton Anderson, Legion Training Center and a few other soon to be announced people are extremely happy to bring you the most intense mixed martial arts the area has ever seen. Our first event of our fight series will be February 22, 2014 at the Washinton Avenue armory. It will be held in a actual full size 30 foot cage (the same size the UFC uses). We already have a number of great fights scheduled for the night that will feature the champs Joe Bagley and Andrew Chirico. Other great fights will feature Alex Ratigan, Kenny Gordan, Walt Wheeler, Brandon Polcare, Paul Randall, Paige Matheson and many many more. We are interested in giving all of our fans a great bargain for their dollar and will be giving away a free t-shirt with our Evolution Of Combat logo on it for each ticket purchased. Tickets will be available in the first week of January. Anyone interested in tickets, being a sponsor, or setting up a vendor table please email any of us.
